Carol Scheftic -- Pittsburgh, PA
For beginning- to intermediate-level workshops, Carol selects the best form of metal clay for the project and experience of students. (First-timers often use PMC-silver. For those with experience, projects may feature other brands of silver, or gold, bronze, or copper. Finishing classes cover select metalsmithing techniques.)
Carol has been teaching--and teaching teachers how to teach--since 1970, with published articles on teaching and visualization. Certified as a Metal Clay Artisan by Rio Grande in 2007, she has led MC classes since 2008. She blogs, for students and colleagues, at http://convergentseries.wordpress.com/
Carol teaches in her studio in Regent Square (Swissvale), and at schools, shops, & art centers in PA, OH, & WV. She will travel to your site to lead a clay-play home party. Let her show how you (yes, you!) can make wonderful adornments with metal clay. Email: email@example.com
